abby: I am an associate professor of anthropology at Mary Baldwin University in beautiful Staunton, Virginia. My research focuses on both Native and non-Native communities in Oklahoma, particularly concerning issues of identity, sovereignty, native politics within the state, and gender. In the little spare time I have left, I like to cook, travel, play with my puppies, read for fun, and do anything outside.
